Sol: Tempranillo Bobal from Spain – Release in April 2027
WINE
The Sol wine kit is the boldest wine in RJS Craft Winemaking’s 2027 Restricted Quantities collection, Elemento, and the grand finale of the series. Inspired by sun, this full-bodied Spanish blend pairs Tempranillo with Bobal for a red that’s rich, smooth and generous.
Blackberry and ripe prune lead, with baking spice and a hint of toasted oak. The palate is smooth, with balanced tannins and a long finish. GenuWine dried grape skins are included for added colour, tannin, aroma and complexity.

REGION
Spain’s sun-baked vineyards produce some of Europe’s ripest, most generous reds. Tempranillo, Spain’s signature grape, brings dark fruit, spice and structure, while Bobal, a native variety grown widely in eastern Spain, adds deep colour and juicy fruit. Hot days and cool nights give a wine that’s full-bodied yet balanced.

Why make the Sol wine kit at Armstrong Wine & Brew?
RJS Restricted Quantities wines are produced once a year in small batches and are available by pre-order only. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. Ember is the first release of the collection, arriving in April 2027. It makes about 30 bottles (23 L), and bottle labels and premium shrinks are included.

$170 per kit, plus a $55 make fee. Reserve multiple RQ27 kits and save more: $10 off your 2nd kit, $15 off your 3rd, $20 off your 4th, $25 off your 5th and $30 off your 6th.
