Champagne expert Richard Juhlin brings his prowess to this elegant alcohol-free Bubbly. Made from particularly ripe Chardonnay grapes from Southern France’s Languedoc region, this wine is made- as the label suggests – in a Champagne Blanc de Blanc style. Ripe apple and citrus notes with a great honey and almond finish. This has tartness in the right places, a wonderful blend of weight and texture with a hedonistic drop of sweetness on the finish.
Oddbird’s Blanc de Blancs is matured for 12 months, enhancing the wine’s citrus and sweet tones. Later they use a unique and patented method to preserve the flavours and aromas of the wine while gently removing the alcohol. It’s made from 100% Chardonnay from the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. Moa Gürbüzer saw the detriments of alcohol to individuals and communities as a therapist and social worker for 20 years. In 2013, she left social work to start Oddbird with the vision of changing social norms. Today, Oddbird is the largest producer of wines liberated from alcohol in Scandinavia.
Food Pairing: Perfect pairing with buttery and creamy foods, especially a rich, creamy camembert and brie. These cheeses are rich, creamy, and dreamy and interact nicely with the delicate bubbles in this Bubbly.
